Snowboarding is way different from Skiing. Many people believe it is easier for you to learn snowboarding when you did not ski before. When you ski, you always have to move both of your edges on your skiis. When you want to stop, you can just plow by moving your skiis together.

 

- When you Snowboard, you only have to move two edges.

- While you are boarding, you should always be on one of your edges, that means your weight should be on one side of your board. When you are on no edges you will crash pretty fast.

- You can change edges and turn by shifting your weight over to the other edge.

Those are some of the basics you will need to know to go out and get some runs - or even catch some big air...
